Redfield tops Webster in Legion baseball

WEBSTER – A total of seven different players drove in runs for Redfield on the way to a 9-3 win over Webster in American Legion baseball on Monday.

Grady Hulscher led the balanced attack with three runs batted in. Hulscher drove in a pair of runs on a fielder’s choice in the third inning and another on a single in the fifth.

Noah Johnson delivered a sacrifice fly, while Chace Odland drove in a run with a single and Jacksan Rude added an RBI double in the first inning. Micah Zastrow and Jett Kleinsasser each had RBI singles in the second, and Tate Neuharth plated a run with a bases-loaded walk in the third.

Odland finished with two hits.

Webster scored all three of its runs in the fourth inning, two coming on a double from Chase Gregerson, and the other on a single from John Coon.
