Redfield, Milbank collect walk-off Legion baseball wins

REDFIELD – Redfield erased a pair of deficits before grabbing a 10-9 walk-off win over Sisseton in American Legion baseball Thursday night.

The hosts, who trailed 5-1 and 9-8, scored a run in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game, before Jacksan Rude delivered a sacrifice fly plating Noah Johnson in the winning run in the bottom of the eighth.

Sisseton led 5-1 in the third inning following a two-run double by Bryan Hanson.

Redfield jumped in front with five runs in the fourth, before Sisseton scored four straight runs to set the stage for the late-inning drama.

Micah Zastrow had three hits and drove in three runs for Redfield. Rylan Anderson topped Sisseton with two hits.

NOTE: Mack Koplin had a single that drove in Brady Allen with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. Jaxson Wiese and Koplin each had three hits, while Bennett Hunt drove in four runs.
