CLARK – A trio of pitchers combined to allow just one run as Clark-Willow Lake defeated Groton 6-1 in American Legion baseball action on Sunday.

Watson Grantham, Cooper Pommer, and Max Bratland combined to walk two and strike out 13. The trio also helped to power the Clark-Willow Lake offense.

Grantham had a two-run single in the third inning, Pommer produced an RBI double in the fifth, and Bratland had an RBI single, and Ky Vandersnick drove in a pair with a single in the sixth.

Pommer and Vandersnick each had two hits in the victory. TC Schuster had a pair of hits for Groton.
