MADISON – Aberdeen Roncalli finished fifth as a team led by Claire Crawford in seventh during the Madison Invitational golf tournament on Thursday.

The Cavaliers shot a team total 370. St. Thomas More won the tourney with a 346.

“Tough day today,” said Roncalli coach Jon Murdy. “Lots of wind and Madison is always a tough course.”

Crawford shot a round of 85. Sisseton’s Kenzley Heath finished 14th with a 91.

“I told the girls it’s all about keeping your attitude in good spirits all day, and they did,” Murdy said.

Next up for Roncalli is the Northeast Conference Tournament Monday at Groton.
