WATERTOWN – One night after a come-from-behind overtime win over Aberdeen, the Watertown Shamrocks never trailed on the way to a 3-0 NAHL hockey victory on Saturday night.

Watertown received goals from three different players, despite being outshot by the Wings 40-19.

After a scoreless opening period, the Shamrocks found the back of the net in the second period, and then added an insurance goal in the third before scoring an empty net goal in the closing seconds.

Adam Dybal had 17 saves in goal for Aberdeen. Watertown goalie Mason Gudridge stopped all 40 shots he faced.

The Wings are currently in third place in the Central Division standings, while the Shamrocks are in fourth.

Aberdeen is on the road next weekend for two games at the Minnesota Wilderness.
