Drivers claim track championships at BCS

Track championships came down to the wire in a pair of classes at Brown County Speedway Friday night.

Aberdeen’s Jodie Michaelson was able to make up enough ground in the Street Stock feature to win the track title by a single point over Jayden Bogh of Huron. Aberdeen’s Chad Becker ended up winning the Late Model track championship by six points over fellow Aberdeen driver Kent Arment.

Other track titles went to Dawson Zabel of Selby in Midwest Modified, Mike Stearn of Aberdeen in Modified, Trevor Nelson of Warner in Super Stock, and TJ Pfeiffer of Aberdeen in Legends.

Feature winners on Friday night were Arment in Late Model, Zabel, Stearns, Nelson, Kyle Bertram of Dallas in Street Stock, and Colton Miller of Bismarck, N.D. in Legends.

The two-day Big Buck Nationals takes place next Friday and Saturday at the track.
