Cougars drop girls’ contest to Mitchell

MITCHELL – The Mitchell Marlins scored the first three goals of the game and the Aberdeen Cougars were unable to recover in a 4-1 girls’ hockey game on Saturday afternoon.

The Marlins, who outshot Aberdeen 39-22, received goals from four different players.

Aberdeen got on the board with a goal by Addyson Keller with 10:14 left in the second period on an assist from Rachel Siefken.

Chloe Vikander recorded 35 saves in goal for the Cougars.

Aberdeen is right back at it today with another road contest at Brookings.
