REDFIELD – The James Valley Christian boys and the Herreid-Selby Area girls both had winning runners to help secure team titles as well during the Redfield Pheasant Invitational Cross Country Meet on Thursday.
Kaden Ober of JVC won the boys’ race with teammate Levi Crandall finishing third as the Vikings won the team championship.
Della Ernst of HSA won the girls’ race with teammate Evelyn Shearer taking second, helping to lead the Wolverines to the team crown.
Joseph Richards of Aberdeen Christian finished 10th and Andrew Schwab was 21st. Clara Herreid was 32nd in the girls’ race for the Knights.
