Groton moved into the receiving votes category in Class A boys in the final Prep Media basketball polls of the season.
The Tigers, who defeated two-time defending state champion Dakota Valley last week, received a vote in the latest poll.
There were very few changes in the final polls. Mitchell in Class AA boys, Sioux Falls Christian in Class A boys, Castlewood in Class B boys, and O’Gorman in Class AA girls all retained their top spots. Castlewood’s grip on the number one position grew a bit this past week over second-rated White River.
Other area teams in the polls are Hamlin, which is second in Class A boys, and Leola-Frederick which is receiving votes in Class B boys.
