Miller, Potter County runners claim Ipswich titles

IPSWICH – The Miller boys and Potter County girls had individual champions on the way to winning team titles during the Ipswich Invitational cross country meet on Saturday.

Miller scored 10 points to edge Ipswich by seven points for the boys’ team title. Miller’s Alex Schumacher won the individual race with teammate Pierce Baumberger second. It was Schumacher’s second win of the week, also capturing the De Smet Invitational on Thursday.

Potter County ran away with the girls’ team crown. The Battlers were led by Dannika Kaup who won the individual race.
