Northern men roll past Bemidji State

Northern State jumped out to a 14-point halftime lead and claimed an 84-68 men’s basketball win over Bemidji State on Saturday afternoon.

The Wolves had solid shooting from start to finish in taking the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference victory at Wachs Arena. Northern shot 51 percent from the field, including 56 percent from deep.

Josh Dilling poured in a game-high 33 points, making all five of this three-point field goals, and also dished out eight assists. Augustin Reede added 19 points for the Wolves, Jacksen Moni contributed 13 points and 10 rebounds, while Trey Longstreet finished with 11 points.

The Wolves are now 5-5 on the season and 3-1 in the NSIC. They have won four of their last five games.

Northern concludes the 2023 portion of its schedule with conference games at Minot State on Thursday and Minnesota Crookston on Saturday.
