IPSWICH – The Ipswich girls and North Central boys captured team championships during the Ipswich Invitational Cross Country Meet on Saturday morning.
Ipswich girls claimed the top five spots, led by race winner Isabella Galbraith. She was followed by teammates Kalynn Oban, Jayla Stiles, Madisyn Gellhaus, and Jennay Gisi, respectively.
Gavin Hirsch of Herreid-Selby Area won the boys’ race with Reagan Sandness of Sunshine Bible Academy in second. Drew Arbach of North Central finished third, leading a strong delegation of Thunder, who had five runners among the top 10 finishers.
