Larson qualifies for national cross country meet

STILLWATER, Okla. – South Dakota State’s Cody Larson qualified for the NCAA Division I National Cross Country meet on Friday after finishing 13th at the Midwest Regional at Oklahoma State.

The former Warner standout clocked a time of 30:37.1 at the regional. Larson, who last spring competed in the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Oregon, will now move on to the national cross country meet next Saturday in Columbia, Mo.

Megan Ford was the top SDSU women’s runner, also finishing 13th.

Both of the Jackrabbits men’s and women’s team took 10th place.
