HURON – Miller swept Flandreau 25-17-25-16-25-12 for a Class A SoDak 16 volleyball win Tuesday night. The Rustlers advance to the Class A state tournament and will face Wagner in the opening round next week in Rapid City.
Miller was led by Aleah Schlechter with 11 kills, while Paige Werdel had eight.
Jolie Palmer had 21 digs and four aces, while Journey Palmer followed with 11 digs and 1 ace. Shaylee Anderberg contributed 10 digs and 1 ace, while Heather Resel finished with 25 assists and 10 digs.

WATERTOWN – The Lennox Orioles defeated the Groton Tigers 25-20, 25-11, 25-27, 25-18 for a Class A SoDak 16 volleyball win Tuesday night.

Groton was led by Sydney Leicht with nine kills and 15 digs. Anna Fjeldheim had seven kills, while Rylee Dunker added 6.
Carley Guthmiller finished with 33 digs and one ace, while Liz Fliehs topped the Tigers with 26 set assists and 17 digs. Chesney Weber had a team-leading four aces.
Groton finished with season with a 20-5 record.

Lennox will enter the state tourney as the eighth-seed and face top-seeded defending state champion Sioux Falls Christian in the opening round.
PIERRE – Wagner outlasted Mobridge-Pollock in five sets 25-20, 23-25, 25-22, 22-25, 15-7 for a Class A SoDak 16 volleyball win Tuesday night.
Charley Henderson led the Tigers with 20 kills and also added 11 digs and three block assists. Raelyn Aberle had 13 kills, 21 digs, three aces, and two block assists, while Ryli Thompson contributed 13 kills, 19 digs, and two aces.
Grace Overland finished with nine kills, five digs, and four block assists, while Reagan Weisbeck led the Tigers with 28 digs. Katy Kemnitz had 23 assists, 11 digs, and three aces, while Sophia Overland finished with 20 assists, 18 digs, and three block assists.
Mobridge-Pollock finished the year at 26-8.
Wagner will be the sixth seed at next week’s state tournament and take on Miller in the opening round.
