GROTON – Groton overcame a seven-point first-quarter deficit to capture a 50-37 non-conference girls’ basketball win over Florence-Henry Monday night.

Taryn Traphagen nailed five 3-pointers on the way to 21 points for Tigers, who outscored Florence-Henry 24-9 in the second period. Rylee Dunker added 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Ashlynn Vavruska led the Falcons with 17 points.
