FAULKTON – Ipswich overcame a slow start to edge Faulkton 39-37 in Lake Region Conference girls’ basketball Thursday night.

Gabby Wald scored 14 points to lead the Tigers, who trailed by five points after the opening quarter. Marley Guthmiller contributed nine points and eight rebounds.

Anika Mueller scored 15 points and Brooklyn Mueller added 12 points, and each grabbed eight rebounds to pace Faulkton.
