MELLETTE – Northwestern pulled away from a one-point halftime lead and grabbed a 42-30 win over Ipswich in Lake Region Conference girls’ basketball action Thursday night.

Ashley Haven scored 17 of her 22 points in the second half, while Tara Blachford had eight of her 11 points in the final 16 minutes as well.

Marley Guthmiller scored 10 points for Ipswich, which slipped to 6-3 on the season.
