Bulldogs claim victory over Northern Men

Minnesota-Duluth scored 12 unanswered points in the opening half to help fuel a men’s college basketball win over Northern State Thursday night.

The Bulldogs trailed 15-14 before going on a 12-0 run on the way to a 79-62 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference victory at Wachs Arena.

Duluth outrebounded the Wolves by a 45-29 margin.

Joshua Book topped NSU with 12 points, while Ty Rogers finished with 11, shooting 3 of 4 from 3-point range.

The Wolves, 2-7 on the year and 2-2 in NSIC action, host Bemidji State at 4 Saturday afternoon at Wachs Arena
