Opening round pairings are now set for the Class A and Class B portions of the State Volleyball Tournament next week in Rapid City. The event runs Nov. 20-22 at The Monument.
The Class AA pairings will be determined following SoDak 16 matches this Thursday.
Here are the first-round pairings for the Class A and Class B squads:
CLASS A
8 Wagner (24-7) vs. 1 Dakota Valley (31-3), 11 a.m.
5 Hamlin (21-4) vs. 4 Clark-Willow Lake (25-1), 12:45 p.m.
7 Rapid City Christian (29-11) vs. 2 Dell Rapids (27-6) 5 p.m.
6 St. Thomas More (29-9) vs. 3 Sioux Falls Christian (25-10), 6:45 p.m.
CLASS B
8 Herreid-Selby Area (26-6) vs. 1 Chester Area (30-1), 11 a.m.
5 Bennett County (36-5) vs. 4 Parkston (30-6), 12:45 p.m.
7 Gayville-Volin (30-4) vs. 2 Northwestern (35-2), 5 p.m.
