FLORENCE – Aberdeen Christian used a balanced attack to pick up a non-conference volleyball sweep over Florence-Henry Monday night.

The Knights won by set scores of 25-10, 25-23, 25-23 for their second straight sweep.

“Another awesome performance by my crew,” said Christian coach Sally Stoebner. “I saw a lot of big swings tonight and some great defense.”

Arianna Johnson led the Knights with a dozen kills, followed by Jolie Fogarty with 10, and Sophie Glynn with eight.

Alexis Isakson served four aces, while Sophia Eichler followed with three.

Isakson, Fogarty, and Payton Skarin each finished with 12 digs.

“Every game is as important as the next,” Stoebner said, “so we’ve gotta quick turnaround for Gettysburg (Tuesday).”
