Third inning powers Redfield past W-I-N

REDFIELD – Redfield overcame an early five-run deficit to grab an 11-6 American Legion baseball victory over Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern Wednesday night.

The hosts scored eight runs in the third inning to take control. Redfield scored four runs on bases-loaded walks during the frame and also received a pair of two-run singles from Hunter Binger and Jett Kleinsasser.

Redfield added three more runs in the fourth as Binger added another run-scoring single.

W-I-N scored three runs in the first and two in the second to grab an early advantage. Lincoln Kroll and Beckett Halverson each drove in runs in the first, while Levi Little delivered a two-run single in the second.

Chace Odland and Binger each had two hits to top Redfield. Nine different players each had a hit for W-I-N.
