REDFIELD – Clark-Willow Lake won a pair of tight games over Redfield in Legion baseball action on Monday.
CWL took one game 8-7 and the other 7-4. The visitors plated three runs in the top of the first inning of their one-run win. Redfield plated five runs in the bottom of the second as Tate Bray started the uprising with an RBI double. Clark-Willow Lake tied the game in the third and then scored just enough runs to finish off the win.
Watson Grantham, Ky Vandersnick, Jack Helkenn, Conner Mudgett, and Will Hovde each had a pair of hits in the victory.
Clark-Willow Lake scored four times in the first inning and made it stand up in the other win. Hovde and Cooper Pommer had RBI hits in that contest.
