Clark-Willow Lake edges Redfield

CLARK – Jakob Steen had a key two-run single in a three-run third inning as Clark-Willow Lake picked up a 5-2 win over Redfield in American Legion baseball action Tuesday night.

Kevin Weller’s RBI single in the top of the first inning put Redfield on top, before the hosts scored five unanswered runs.

A pair of CWL pitchers combined to strike out 13 batters. Tyson Huber fanned nine, before Cooper Pommer came on in relief and struck out four the remainder of the contest.
