Circus, Northville pick up amateur victories

BALTIC – Aberdeen Circus Sports Bar received hits from eight different players on the way to a 15-0 Amateur baseball win over Baltic on Saturday.

Jesse Babcock and Eastan Millar each drove in a pair of runs for Circus, which took advantage of seven walks and four Baltic errors.

Northville 9, Groton 2

GROTON – The Northville Merchants scored six runs in the sixth inning to break open a tight game in a 9-2 win over Groton Locke Electric.

Drew Bakeberg drove in three runs with a bases-loaded double to highlight the frame.

Greg Heyne had two hits for Northville, while Ben Althoff and Spencer Locke each had a pair of hits for Groton.
