Webster boys, Clark-Willow Lake girls win GPL golf titles

WATERTOWN – On the strengths of their medalists, the Webster boys and Clark-Willow Lake girls captured team championships at the Great Plains Lutheran golf tournament at Cattail Crossing on Tuesday.

Blaize Amdahl of Webster won the boys’ individual title with a 72, three strokes better than Carson Meadors of Waverly-South Shore. Webster won a tight team race with a total of 233, two strokes better than runner-up Clark-Willow Lake and third place Hamlin.

Brynn Roehrich of Clark-Willow Lake won the girls individual crown with a 73, 13 strokes better than the rest of the field. The Cyclones shot a 262 team total.
