Madison grabs high school baseball win over Redfield

REDFIELD – Madison scored five runs in the first two innings and never looked back on the way to a 12-3 high school baseball win over the Redfield Muskrats on Friday night.

Madison scored two runs in the top of the first inning without a hit. Redfield got one run back in the bottom half of the frame on Noah Johnson’s RBI single.

The visitors tacked on three runs in the second, two coming on a double by Ben Brooks, and then took complete control with four more runs in the fourth.

Redfield scored its final two runs in the fifth inning on an error.

JD Prorok struck out 10 batters in 4 and 1/3 innings for Madison, which improved to 11-4 on the season.
