Faulkton, Miller athletes win events at Cecil Johnson meet

PRESHO – Douglas swept the team titles, while Faulkton and Miller athletes won multiple events at the Cecil Johnson Invitational track and field meet on Thursday.

In the girls’ division, Faulkton’s Presleigh Martinmaas topped the field in the 100-meter hurdles, while the Trojans won the 3,200-meter relay. Miller’s Faith Baumberger won the shot put, and teammate Paige Werdel won the long jump.

In the boys’ division, Miller’s Kellan Hurd won the 400-meter dash, and Faulkton won the 3,200-meter relay.
