GARRETSON – Clark-Willow Lake scored timely runs to grab a sweep over Garretson in American Legion baseball on Wednesday.

CWL produced two runs in the top of the eighth inning of a 3-2 victory, and scored single runs in four different innings of a 4-3 win.

Conner Mudgett, who had two hits in the extra-inning decision, drove in one run in the eighth while the eventual game-winning run scored on a wild pitch.

Mudgett and Bennett Pommer each had RBI singles in the other game. CWL came up with what proved to be the game-winning run without a hit, thanks to a walk and a pair of wild pitches.
