CLEAR LAKE – The Milbank boys and Deuel girls claimed team championships at the Kiwanis Relays track and field meet on Tuesday.
Milbank was led by Sam Rick who won the long jump and the triple jump. Deuel’s Oliver Fieber won the 100-meter dash and ran on first place 400-meter and 800-meter relay squads. Lucas Johnson of Great Plains Lutheran won the high jump and ran on winning 1,600-meter and sprint medley relay teams.
Deuel’s Jaycee Hourigan won the 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter runs. Haylen Schneck of Milbank won the 400-meter dash and the high jump. Milbank won all five of the relay races.
