GROTON – Groton hauled down 47 rebounds, including 19 offensive boards, to help fuel a 41-34 non-conference girls’ basketball win over Vermillion Friday night.

Taryn Traphagen scored 12 points, Jerica Locke followed with 10, Rylee Dunker had nine, and Jaedyn Penning finished with seven for the Tigers. Dunker grabbed 13 rebounds, while Locke and Traphagen each had eight.

Lexi Hanson powered Vermillion with 14 points.
