SPEARFISH – Aberdeen Central fell to Spearfish 51-29 in a non-conference girls’ wrestling dual Thursday night.

“Tough dual against a good opponent, but we have a new day to wrestle (Friday),” said Central coach Jake Flakus. “That’s what we are on to.”

The Golden Eagles won three contested matches on the evening. Morgan Little pinned her foe in the opening period. Jasmine Maas recorded a technical fall, and Lilly Nelson also pinned her opponent.

“Jasmine Maas and Lilly Nelson both had solid performances,” Flakus said.

Central will now compete in the Rapid City Invitational today and tomorrow.
