GETTYSBURG – Tayshaun Cudmore of Dupree and Kendal Uttecht of Wolsey-Wessington captured individual championships during the Central South Dakota Conference and Yellowstone Trail Conference cross country meet in Gettysburg on Wednesday.
Gavin Hirsch of Herreid-Selby Area, who broke a 50-year-old school record at a meet on Tuesday, finished second, and North Central’s Drew Arbach was fifth. Dupree won the team title.
Herreid-Selby Area won the girls’ team crown.
Autumn Fallis of Highmore-Harrold finished runner-up in the individual race, with Hoven’s Dannika Kaup in third, Faith Heil of Mobrdge-Pollock in fourth, and Herreid-Selby Area’s Evelyn Shearer in fifth.
