WESSINGTON SPRINGS – The Highmore-Harrold girls and James Valley Christian boys both had individual champions on the way to winning team titles as well during the 281 Conference Cross Country Meet on Wednesday.
Autumn Fallis won the girls’ race helping the Pirates edge out James Valley Christian by one point in the team standings. Wolsey-Wessington’s Kendal Uttecht finished third.
Kaden Ober topped the field in the boys’ race, helping JVC to the team crown, with Highmore-Harrold finishing runner-up.
