BOWDLE – Faulkton’s Korbin Stark won the boys’ race by eight seconds, while Ipswich’s Kalynn Oban edged teammate Isabella Galbraith by less than half a second at the finish of the girls’ race during the North Central Invitational cross country meet on Thursday morning.

Oban clocked a time of 14:53.64, just ahead of Galbraith who ran a 14:53.97. Jayla Stiles of Ipswich was third. The Tigers finished with five of the top six runners.

Stark ran a time of 13:24.55. North Central’s Drew Arbach was runner-up in a time of 13:32.13.

Aberdeen Christian’s Joseph Richards was 14th, with teammate Andrew Schwab in 19th. Clara Herreid finished 32nd for the Christian girls.
