MELLETTE – Northwestern exploded for 28 first-quarter points to set the tone for a 69-57 non-conference boys’ basketball win over Herreid-Selby Area Monday night. The victory was the 100th career win for Northwestern coach Anthony Redman.

Ty Boekelheide had 22 points, and Jarren Haven added 19 to lead the Wildcats. Talon Miller contributed 13, and Will Clemens finished with nine.

Herreid-Selby Area received 13 points from Timothy Rueb, 11 from Noah Schuetzle, and 10 from Tatum Quaschnick.
