Wings suffer 4-2 setback to St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD – The Aberdeen Wings outshot St. Cloud Saturday night, but came away with a 4-2 setback in NAHL hockey action.

The Norsemen took a 3-1 into the final period, saw the Wings inch closer on a goal by Herman Berggren with midway through stanza, and then added an insurance goal in the closing minutes to cap off the win.

Ryder Millar scored Aberdeen’s first goal on assists by Brody Dustin and Gavin Reed. Dustin also assisted on Berggren’s goal along with Jonathan Doucette.

Adam Dybal had 23 saves in goal for Aberdeen, which outshot St. Cloud 34-24.

The Wings return home for four straight games, hosting the Minnesota Mallards next weekend, and Austin the week after that at the Odde Ice Center.
