Aberdeen set the tone, before Austin changed the pace Friday night at the Odde Ice Center.

The Wings scored the first two goals, only to see Austin respond with five unanswered goals in a 5-2 NAHL hockey decision.

Sam Scheetz scored less than two minutes into the game on an assist from Caden Lee to put Aberdeen in front, and the Wings extended their lead on a goal by Easton Edwards with assists from Price Grimes and Gavin Reed.

The Bruins sliced the deficit in half before the period ended, and then dominated the second period with four goals. Austin outshot the Wings 15-4 in the middle period.

Adam Dybal had 24 saves in goal for Aberdeen.

The same two teams are back in action tonight. Puck drop is set for 7:15.
