WILMOT – Playing its third match in four days, Aberdeen Christian showed no signs of wearing down with a 25-12, 25-8, 25-18 non-conference volleyball sweep over Wilmot Thursday night.
The Knights used a balanced back from the service line and at the net.
Sawyer Schwan had four ace serves, followed by Arianna Johnson and Jolie Fogarty with three apiece for Christian.
The Knights received nine kills from both Johnson and Sophie Glynn, and seven more from Fogarty.
Christian, 5-5 on the season, will now get a week off before heading to Faulkton on Thursday for a Lake Region Conference match. The Knights then compete at a tournament in Redfield on Saturday, Oct. 4.
“The girls definitely deserve to rest a little bit. I’m glad that we have three days of practice to prepare for our matchup against Faulkton,” said Christian coach Sally Stoebner. “We have been improving each week, so I hope to continue that this week.”
