HURON – Aberdeen Central scored five goals in each half on the way to a 10-0 Eastern South Dakota Conference girls’ soccer victory over Huron on Tuesday evening.

“We did a good job of keeping pressure on their attacking third,” said Central coach Merle Aske.

Central received goals from five different players in the opening 40 minutes. Lucy Fritz, Jaxi Lozenski, Keyanna Stillman, Kaylee Donat, and Emma Joachim each found the back of the net for the Golden Eagles.

Donat, Brianna Fischer, Addyson Salfrank, Epynn Kuhfeld, and Paige Ewalt scored goals in the final half, giving Central nine different goal scorers on the night.

“We were able to get younger players some varsity experience,” Aske said. “We will start working towards Brandon we have on Saturday now.”

The girls’ contest against Brandon Valley will take place at 2 p.m., following the boys’ matchup at noon at Brownell Activities Complex.
