There is a new number one-rated team after just one week in the Prep Media football polls.
A major shakeup took place in Class 9A when last week’s top team Howard lost in its season opener.
Wall moved up to grab the top spot, and Warner jumped up two spots from fourth to second when last week’s number three Wolsey-Wessington also fell.
Alcester-Hudson, which did not receive a single vote in the initial poll, soared to number four after toppling Howard.
Sully Buttes remained number one in Class 9B, while Hamlin remained second in Class 9AA. Faulkton, which was idle last week, fell one position from third to fourth in 9B.
Teams receiving votes include Clark-Willow Lake and Mobridge-Pollock in 11B, Leola-Frederick in 9AA, and Herreid-Selby Area in 9B.
The largest three classes were idle last week and start their seasons this week so there was no change in any of those polls.
