After losing its first game to start the season, the Groton girls’ soccer team has outscored three opponents by a combined margin of 14-0 and the Tigers have now climbed to second in the latest Class A poll.

Sioux Falls Christian, which handed Groton its only setback, is the top-rated team in Class A.

The Groton boys, which are 4-0 on the season, are rated fourth in the the A poll.

Aberdeen Central is tied for fifth in the Class AA boys’ poll, while the Golden Eagles are in the receiving votes category in the Class AA girls’ poll.
