A pair of local squads can be found in the South Dakota High School Soccer Coaches Association preseason polls that came out on Thursday.

Aberdeen Central is rated fourth in the Boys AA poll, while Groton is rated third in the Girls A poll.

The Central girls are in the receiving votes category in AA, and the Groton boys are receiving votes in A.

The ratings will come out every other week throughout the regular season.
