MILBANK – The Lake Norden Lakers scored six unanswered runs to secure a 7-3 Amateur baseball victory over the Milbank Firechiefs Wednesday night.

Trailing 3-1, Lake Norden tied the game in the fifth on a two-out two-run double by Josh Clevland.

The Lakers then took the lead with a run in the seventh on a solo home run by Cam Thue, added two more two-out runs in the eighth on a Kale Stevenson RBI single, and bases-loaded walk by Clevland, and then tacked on another run in the ninth.

Thue finished with three hits, while Kale Stevenson and Trevor Thue each had two for the Lakers.

Taylor Boerger, Merik Junker, and Kellen Hoeke each had a pair of hits to lead the Firechiefs.
