Groton walks off Sisseton for Legion victory

GROTON – Brevin Fliehs delivered a two-out two-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning as Groton grabbed a walk off 6-5 win over Sisseton in American Legion baseball action Tuesday night.

Sisseton owned a 3-1 lead in the top of the fifth following an RBI double from Max Dahlen, his second double of the contest.

Groton responded with two runs in the bottom of the fifth to knot the score at 3-3 when Korbin Kucker drove in a run with a triple, before scoring on a single by Fliehs.

Sisseton regained a two-run advantage in the top of the sixth with one run scoring on a single by Luke Nielsen.

Teylor Diegel’s RBI single cut the margin to a run, before Fliehs ended the game by driving in a pair.
