PIERRE – The Miller girls and Sully Buttes boys each had individual champions and also won team titles during the Region 5B Golf Tournament on Thursday.
Miller won the girls’ crown by 48 strokes over Mobridge-Pollock.
Miller’s Jayce Pugh won the girls’ individual title with a round of 74, in front of teammate Kaihlyn Anderberg, who was runner-up 10 strokes off the pace.
The Sully Buttes boys won the team championship by 23 strokes over Miller.
Gavin Colson of Sully Buttes was the medalist with a 71, three strokes better than teammate Wesley Wittler, who finished second.
