BRITTON – Great Plains captured team championships in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions during the Eastern Coteau Conference track and field meet on Tuesday.
A pair of Panthers had perfect days on the boys’ side. Micah Holien won the 100-meter, 200-meter, and 400-meter dashes and ran on the winning 1,600-meter relay team. Hessel Andringa won the 300-meter intermediate hurdles, the long jump, and the triple jump and also ran on the winning 1,600-meter relay squad.
Chloe Berg lead the GPL girls by winning the 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter runs.
Shali Laurence of Tri-State won the shot put and discus.
