GPL boys win team title at Volga Last Chance meet

VOLGA – The depth of the Great Plains Lutheran was on display as the Panthers won the boys’ team championship at the Volga Lance Chance track and field meet on Thursday. Sioux Valley won the girls’ team crown.

GPL had six different boys win open events. Hayden Karli, Hessel Andringa, Lucas Johnson, and Micah Holien each won an open event and then combined to form the winning 1,600-meter relay squad.

Deuel’s Jaycee Hourigan won the 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter runs in the girls’ division.
