WATERTOWN – Clark-Willow Lake edged the boys’ field and dominated the girls’ competition on the way to sweeping team titles at the Pre Region 1B golf tournaments Monday in Watertown.
The Cyclones topped the boys’ division by four strokes over Edmunds Central at Cattail Crossing, while the CWL girls won the girls’ division by 55 strokes in action at Prairie Winds Golf Course.
Harrison Beyers of Edmunds Central shot a 76 to win the boys’ individual title by one stroke over Kaiden Weinreis of Doland and Cade Gaikowski of Clark-Willow Lake.
Aberdeen Christian’s Jett Johnson finished 34th with a 94, and teammate Ellis Russell was 37th with a 96.

Clark-Willow Lake’s Brynn Roehrich was the girls’ medalist with an 84, while teammate Faith Roehrich was runner-up with a 94. Olivia Knox of Doland was third with a 97, and Ipswich’s Mollie Simon was fourth with a 100.
