Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern blanks Redfield

REDFIELD – Ashton Remily allowed just one hit and struck out 10 batters as Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern grabbed a 7-0 victory over Redfield in American Legion baseball on Monday.

Remily allowed a leadoff hit in the bottom of the first inning and no other hits before being relieved with two outs in the seventh by Sam Vetter. Redfield did have runners on base in six of the seven innings.

W-I-N took control with four runs in the fourth inning, two coming in on a Chays Mansfield single.

Dawson Ward, who drove in a run in the fourth, plated another run in the fifth before Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern added two more runs in the sixth frame for the final margin of difference.

Mac Heinz topped W-I-N with three hits, and Xavier Kadlec had two.
