SISSETON – The Sisseton boys won the team championship at the Sisseton Relays track and field meet on Friday while the Groton girls also had a strong showing.
Groton’s MaKenna Krause won the 100-meter dash, the long jump, and ran on the winning sprint medley relay squad. Teammate McKenna Tietz won the 100-meter hurdles, and was a member of first-place 800-meter and 1,600-meter relay teams.
Keegen Tracy of Groton won the 100-meter dash and 400-meter dash, and ran on Groton’s winning 1,600-meter relay squad.
Milbank’s Bennett Hunt won the 110-meter high hurdles and 300-meter intermediate hurdles, while teammate Lawson Novy won the shot put and discus.
